Thriving in Change: Tips for ISFPs and INFPs

Donna DunningIn times of change, the Enhancer’s (ISFP and INFP) greatest strength and also their biggest weakness is their need to know how the change will be helpful to the people involved. Enhancers generally focus on how others will be personally affected by change.

If you are an Enhancer, you may be resistant to changes that don’t align to your values or to changes made strictly on the basis of logical analysis.

Here are 5 tips to help you thrive during change:

• Look for how a change can make things better for the people involved

• Find a meaningful part to play in the change process

• Help others manage and thrive during the change

• If you are displeased with a change, share your concerns with a supportive person

• Challenge yourself to see and accept the logical implications and reasons behind a change
