In my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction – “Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.
Here is a photo of a response from participants who have INFP personality type preferences.
These participants share the dominant function of Introverted Feeling (Fi), which comes across clearly as they express their reflective people-first approach; helping others in a way that is in alignment with their values and principles.
Their Perceiving approach to the world is nicely described in the phrase “want to experience life not control it”.
You may also enjoy looking at how other INFP groups have completed this illustration of type exercise.
