Thriving in Change: Tips for ENTPs and ENFPs

In times of change, the Explorer’s (ENTP and ENFP) greatest strength and also their biggest weakness is that they are already there. Explorers tend to be highly proactive, change oriented, and interested in generating possibilities, seeing trends, and anticipating the future.

If you are an Explorer, you may be resistant to imposed change if it does not fit your view of the future, creates additional structure, or limits freedom of action.

Here are 5 tips to help you thrive during change:

• Start by creating a vision for the future

• Jump in and try something innovative

• Introduce and promote new ways of doing things

• Find long-term benefits and advantages in the change

• Challenge yourself to temper your enthusiasm for change with a respect for lessons learned through past experiences
