In my personality type based communication workshops I sometimes have participants complete this thought –“To communicate most effectively with me, please…” This exercise helps participants express their personal communication style and preferences.

This individual offers many tips for communicating with people who have ISFJ preferences.
Being clear, precise, and providing details are important to them, as is being polite. Take time to listen and don’t pressure them to respond right away.
Generally people who prefer Introversion and Feeling are not comfortable with rousing debates. They prefer calm, harmonious interactions.
