Illustrations of Type – INTJ and INFJ

Illustrations of Type – INTJ and INFJ

By Donna Dunning

In my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction – “Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.

Here is a photo of a response from a combined group of participants with INTJ or INFJ personality type preferences. I put people who have these preferences together because they share a dominant function of Introverted iNtuition (Ni).

People who have these preferences often like to integrate complex ideas, patterns, and possibilities.

Notice how the group emphasizes depth and meaning as important. The depth is represented as what is not seen below the tip of the iceberg.

You may also enjoy looking at how other INTJ or INFJ groups have completed this illustration of type exercise.

If you are interested in seeing how people with different type preferences complete this exercise, check out the Illustrations of Type series.
