Illustrations of Type – INFP

Illustrations of Type – INFP

By Donna Dunning

In my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction -“Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.

Here is a photo of a response from an INFP group. Their whole type description includes the words loyal, idealistic, curious, catalyst for implementing ideas, and flexible. The abstract depiction shows flowing spontaneity and an emphasis on possibilities. Notice that individuals, rather than a group of people, are shown in the city, on the water, and in a rocking chair. Up in the clouds we see the words possibilities and undaunted as well as the word values written in a scroll attached to the heart.

This is the third INFP poster in the Illustrations of Type series.

You may also want to look at the first INFP illustration and the second INFP illustration. Notice how values are key in all three illustrations reinforcing the importance of the dominant Introverted Feeling (Fi) function.
