Illustrations of Type – INFJ

Illustrations of Type – INFJ

By Donna Dunning

Donna DunningIn my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction -“Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.

Here is a photo of a response from an INFJ group.

The amount of information provided and the thought that went into this description gives an insight into the INFJs’ preference for Introverted Intuition (Ni). This is their dominant function.

Notice how their interest in people and development of potential is expressed in one-to-one or in-depth interactions.

You may also want to look at other INFJ illustrations in this series.

  1. Very true. The bottom right corner, about people discounting my wisdom and vision, especially hits home.

  2. Piri says:

Wow, reading this is like seeing my innermost being, on paper. Especially the zero interest in meaningless chit chat. I would rather sit and analyse the awkward silence than sit and chat.
