Illustrations of Type – INFJ

Illustrations of Type – INFJ

By Donna Dunning

In my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction -“Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.

Here is a photo of a response from an INFJ group. Notice the emphasis on meaning and feeling. The phrase “deep rooted human capacity” provides a flavor of the global, in-depth humanistic approach often taken by those who have INFJ preferences. The broad ideas with connecting arrows help us understand the integrative, conceptual viewpoint.

This is the third INFJ poster in the Illustrations of Type series.

I’m so glad I found this. I am an INFJ and the similarity of the picture above to how I would write out my ideas is spot on. Questions, arrows pointing off, broadness, concepts, meanings and connections, with less of an emphasis on words and details.
