In my MBTI® Certification workshops participants respond to the instruction -“Describe your type using words, phrases, or pictures.” I find these visual representations of type preferences help illustrate individual differences.
Here is a photo of a response from an ESTP, a rare find in my certification workshops. Although 4.3 percent of the USA national sample has ESTP preferences, they tend to be under-represented in this program.
The poster is short, to the point, and expressive. You can see the active, practical, fun-loving, approach often associated with people who have a dominant function of Extraverted Sensing (Se). You can also see the auxiliary function of Introverted Thinking (Ti) in the words “compete” and “challenge”.
You may enjoy looking at the other ESTP illustration on the site.
If you are interested in seeing how people with different personality type preferences complete this exercise, look at other posts in the Illustrations Series.

Introduction to Type and Communication describes in detail how personality preferences influence communications.
If you live in the USA, Introduction to Type and Communication is now available on Kindle.
This is quite accurate. Throw in some girl chasing and the occasional fist fight and you’ve got my priorities well defined.
