ESTPs at Work

ESTPs at Work

Logical Responders

“It’s easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission.”

4.3% of the population

Logical Responders balance their approach of immediate action with an internal focus on logical reasoning. Thus they are analytic as well as practical. Logical Responders like to jump into and solve problems.

The following list describes typical characteristics and preferences of people who prefer ESTP. Identify the items that are true for you so you can seek work that suits who you are.

As a Logical Responder, I prefer a work environment that has

  • Change and variety
  • Rapidly changing and varied duties
  • Freedom to act independently
  • Risk, challenge, and competition
  • Ability to make and act on decisions
  • Opportunities to make quick, logical assessments
  • Freedom to stretch the rules
  • Opportunities to work hands-on and attend to detail
  • Practical problems to solve

There is also a general list of work preferences for both ESTPs and ESFPs at Responders at Work that will help you figure out your natural way of working.
