ENFPs at Work

ENFPs at Work

Compassionate Explorers

“Follow your dreams.”

Compassionate Explorers balance their innovative approach with an internal focus on personal values. The resulting combination leads to an interest in sharing ideas that are helpful to others.

The following list describes typical characteristics and preferences of people who prefer ENFP. Identify the items that are true for you so you can seek work that suits who you are.

As a Compassionate Explorer, I prefer a work environment that is:

  • Appreciative
  • Cooperative and harmonious
  • Creative
  • Flexible to accommodate individual needs
  • People oriented
  • Focused on helping others
  • Supportive
  • Meaningful; serving a higher purpose
  • Warm and understanding

There is also a general list of work preferences for both ENTPs and ENFPs at Explorers at Work that will help you figure out your natural way of working.

  1. This is a great book (What’s Your Type of Career?). I share it with my students and they really like it. I encourage them to use it to help them understand themselves and what type of working environment would be compatable with their preferences.
