Career/Lifestyle Weekly Highlights Sept. 10, 2010

Career/Lifestyle Weekly Highlights Sept. 10, 2010

By Donna Dunning

At the end of the week, it’s time to reflect. Here are the top three items that caught my attention on the net.

Vicky Jo Varner is a skilled personality type practitioner who uses multiple lenses to help people understand their preferences. A couple of her recent blogs emphasize the importance of taking time to reflect and verify your preferences. She also talks about separating what you can do from what you prefer to do; making sure you don’t use personality type to limit or label. I recommend her Type Insights Blog

On the theme of self-assessment, Sharon Daniels links self-assessment to career development and has posted some great ideas this week for reviewing your own performance at work, For a Better Career Outlook, Look Inward

OK… maybe this is a bit self-promotional, but it’s time for back to school and this week CPP Icon shares three learning tips for each of the 8 personality type preferences from my Introduction to Type and Learning booklet.

On a humorous note, you can find out how much of your favorite caffeine laden beverage it will take to kill you at Death by Caffeine.

I plan to share three highlights from my exploration every Friday. To illustrate this weekly blog, I’ve decided to feature a flower that’s blooming in my city. Victoria is known as the city of gardens and I am grateful to be surrounded by beauty.
